Alright, guys, No off color remarks about the title! lol!

Just thought I'd post something a little different from me... Just so you don't think I'm stuck on r&B and funk, here's a video clip of my Fusion band, "Manny's Groove Tubes" doing a Dave Weckl piece called "Wake up". It shows a side of my playing that you rarely get to see, because I rarely get to do! We rehearsed this one time and then went out and performed it. Needs work, but not too shabby for the first time. I thought the bass player, Gil Conrad Johnson was brilliant on this, btw. It went too long to post on youtube so I compressed it and placed it on filefront.

Download can take awhile, be patient and I hope you enjoy what we did with this.

Thanks,

D.

And here is our Audio tribute to M.J. It was his Birthday btw.

You're a musician of high calibre Don! I watched that opening drum solo three times in awe. I also like the tuning of your toms. There's a similar drum sound on Cobham's albums Total Eclipse and Shabazz.

Kind regards,
Anders

Again, it's the ultimate when the listener enjoys what you have to share of your musical concepts... For me, even more so when it's enjoyed by a peer or someone of higher caliber.

Thank you, Anders.

Don.
