Hello Everybody:
I just found out today, that my composition, Heather has been adapted for a 9 minute video on the Tsunami in Sendai, Japan. It was a pleasant surprise for me since this particular piece is strongly connected with Japanese history in another way. When I wrote it when I was in Hiroshima, sitting on a bench less than 100 meters from the Atomic Dome where the first nuclear bomb was dropped and ignited. So, the use of this song in support of the visuals of the Tsunami definitely is of major significance for me. It also brings back some pretty heavy thoughts as regard the people involved in recording it and the whole "Crosswinds" album, some who are only with us now in spirit. If you don't know where to view it check out <billy cobham Tsunami> through Google or Youtube.
