sounds like Allan's music! there's no denying they basically copped his whole thing! That's cool they aren't the first. Bill Connors totally did the same thing. That's a good tune. Interesting stuff there.

Was the bass drum as inaudible to you guys as it was on my speaker bar? I can usually hear everything on the gizmo. Not this time.

Definitely sounded like Holdsworth. The guy I record with likes Bill Connors a lot. You don't hear much about him. I've heard new music of his on youtube though. Same kind of vibe as Holdsworth. I actually never liked Holdsworth sound. The new trio stuff has a cleaner, more wide open sound. The Steinberger, I guess. That is Tom's favorite guitar, too.

The tune is from the band Planet X, off of their Cd called "Quatum." It's called "Desert girl."
Planet X is one of the bands Virgil works and writes with.

That sure is a Holdsworth sound. It also looks like a Steinberger.

It's interesting to hear Virgil lay back in a Bonham sort of way here. But that is how he hears the music.
