Everybody has seen vids of Zepplin or seen them live back in the day. I have read many times how Bonham was a brick layer, a mason by trade. Watching him walk out to the drums was astounding to me. I don't remember him twirling his sticks like that either, but the walk. It is no wonder he could kill a drum set. And yet he has a lot of finesse at times. Quite a player.

The brick layer in action. Some real Bonhamisms at the beginning of this.

The one time I saw them live was at the Yale Bowl in New Haven CT. Green sparkle 5 pc. Maybe I sat too far back because I don't remember Bonham being so ferocious.

Caught the band in '77, age 16, with my brother at the old Chicago Stadium. Show canceled after 4 songs; Page too ripped.
