Hey, Check these guys out... Metal meets jazz.
Listen to what they did with Skunk Funk, Giant Steps,
The time of my life and Take five.

They're different, I gotta give em that! Check it!

Samples only.

They have a real interesting approach! While the drummer already had finished his studies when I came to University, the guitarist studied Jazz with me in Linz, Austria! I still meet him once in a while per chance. Cool you like it!

Gave me a headache for some reason. Especially Take 5.

Like em or not, They think out of the box.
And I really like that about them. Personally
I don't know how much metal/jazz I could stand
to listen to but these guys do it very skillfully
and I can appreciate that. You have to be able
to play to do what these guys do and they can
play no doubt.

Take an advil and get over it! Wink

A whole easier and less expensive to just not listen to that kind of sound. No

I found it interesting this blend has apparently been around awhile in Europe, and those guys are just making a name for themselves in the genre.

They have great timing and all. I just dislike bone crunching, raw guitar sounds.

Yeah, whatever works for you... I'm not sure I could listen
to this for any stretch of time, but then maybe I could. I really
like listening to these youngsters though. That way my playing
never gets old. In understanding the logistics behind what they
did, I can look past the production of sound sources they decided
to use.
