The show was awesome last night, the highlight of the evening was Gary Husband's tune,
"What if Animals had Guns" and a Mahavishnu tune was performed "Open Country Joy".

Billy was using a Yamaha Phoenix kit with gold hardware and a Yamaha hex rack.
The snare was something custom, with antique long lugs, I couldn't tell what it was?

It was a full house for this show, most likely a sell out, the Colonial is an old movie theater in the
small town of Phoenixville, PA. Here is an interesting piece of trivia, the front of this theater was
used in the 1958 horror movie, "The Blob"..the scene where it invades a movie theater.

Good crowd, except for a few "weirdo's", at one point Boomer was talking on the mic and some older woman
walked up to the front of the stage and tried to hug him!
He was completely taken off guard and jumped back when he approached him and replied, "I have to go play",
"get me some help"...possibly trying to alert the staff?

I have some cool pictures from the show I will post later, my USB jack is acting up and it is causing my computer to freeze
when I plug something in it.

If it wasn't Open Country Joy, it sure sounded like it..I may have been mistaken.

Whatever it was, it sounded very much like it, I wish I captured it on video.
I have the encore on video, I was in the fourth row so I didn't want to film too much.
Plus I had a guy in front of me with a long torso that was blocking my view a bit...lol!

Well , Billy himself said that there was no M.O. music played during the gigs. YOu must have mistaken one of the original songs by Dean, Jerry, Ric or Gary as being that.

Believe me, I wish it had been played.

Ted,
I did some checking, it was Brick Chicken by Jerry Goodman.

It sounds a lot like Open Country Joy, the way the crowd was reacting I think everyone else was
fooled too! This big uproar of applause happened and I think everyone assumed it was a Mahavishnu piece.

I think everybody was wishing the same thing and they believed a Mahavishnu reunion was happening..LOL!
