"Beserlwischen" and "XXX" are complete new tunes by a piano trio I am playing with since 2 weeks....we had two rehearsals of all original program and then went into our studio at the Uni. It's only the rough mix..we will mix it in the next few weeks.

The JazzNetwork has been set up that way because of spammers. I wrote Jaijai JAckson about it saying that this might not be such a good idea to get folks in as they may want to check things out first and she said she would look into it.

Both new tunes are meditative beauties, Niki . . . and very nicely played. I look forward to hearing the final mixes.

Thanks woof and D.L for your comments....there's more music and more takes. We will mix that stuff and then make a demo Cd out of it. For the short amount of time we spend together I think it worked out quite okay. I also like the compositions. They are all very introverted and not climax music. We all love listening to people like pianist Bill Evans.
On the track "Beserlwischen" ( the take is not the best, and might not be on the mixed Demo Cd, but close second I think) I tried to play a linear groove inspired by drum teacher at the University Doug Hammond who played like that.
