One of my all time faves, Mr. Sonny Emory. Never really saw him giving lessons. He's a great drummer with a great track record as a performing artist. Check it out.

First sections are demonstration, while the second half is breaking it all down. Enjoy!!

Pete..so glad all is starting well again.

Great stuff.  Super advice
for any player really and es-
pecially the flams, which are
so important, not to mention
the imperative idea that we
should always work on our
rudiments in time and even
in the context of music.

Billy inspired, of course and
then validated, at the end.
I was happy to see that.

Regards,

Groovin like crazy! Hand and foot combos, that's what it's all about for me.

Yes, great album of the times. Emory goes even further back and have not gotten the attention he so deserves. Thanks Colin for that added information.
