Hello Everybody:
I have been working on a project to help the music community but especially the drumming community as it has to do with performance management, the development of solid coordination skills and developing solid creative and imaginative tools for use in real time within the rhythm section. I have a music camp set to cater to 25 serious drummers, guitarists, keyboardists and bassists the week of August 4 through 9 this year. The location is in the town of Bechyne, Czech Republic. I will be assisted by my colleagues in Spectrum 40 (Dean Brown - gtr, Gary Husband - kys, Ric Fierabracci - bs, Franz Erl - Monitor Tech and Ross Morgan - Front of House Tech). We will be lecturing and conducting presentations during 5 classes each day that are directly related to working together within the rhythm section. Check out my ideas in a short general impromptu video and let me know if you might be interesting in joining me there. The web site's first and second pages are up with much more to come. Let me know what you think about this idea when you have a moment, thanks.

I think it's a great idea ! I would hope you might do it when you come to NYC in the fall because I can't make it to the Czech Republic ! I would definitely attend here.

And as Colin said, the second link is not operating yet.

Peace, TED

The site is still in the development stage and will be fully functional soon. Sorry for the delay in that regard. I am encouraged that we got this far and expect that as we take "baby steps" towards reaching our goal with this project the light at the end of the tunnel will grow brighter. We've just got to keep pushing forward. More to come.

OK, The web site is now up and running everyone. If this is of interest to you then follow the directions and let's see if we can make it happen. Thanks for checking it out one way or the other.

This is just a wonderful venture Boomer that you are providing and a cool site as well! Sounds like a culmination of your life's work entrusted into other musicians that has not be done, that I know of, from a musician of your level. Wish I could be there.

I enjoyed the concert. Man, what a great thing to place on the site. Stellar musicians, all.

I was wondering if you and Gary ever do any kind of duet playing. That would be exciting. I reckon some of the stages would not accommodate two drums sets.

Good web site. Easy to navigate. Will you also bring this event to the States, as well?

Asaph,

I can answer that for you (I hope you don't mind, Billy).
B.C. did an album called "The traveler" in 1993.  There is
a tune on that CD called: "On the inside track."  The latter
part of the tune features a drum solo duet between he and
Gary.

I saw them perform this live when Billy was promoting this
project with a tour in 93.  Two drum kits, the whole 9 yards
right there on the stage.  Billy was playing Mapex and Gary
was playing Yamaha (and keys the rest of the evening).  One
of the best Billy shows I've ever witnessed.

Here's the link if you'd like to hear the tune.
