Billy, I saw this coming and I understand why you wanted me to keep it on the down low.
I don't know why but I actually felt a change in the air when you did the Tama 40th
anniversary show.  Somehow, you seem to have a new since of vigor and drumming
purpose.  I don't know what you and Tama worked out but looking at your current
FB pictures you look the happier and healthier for it be it, likely among other things.

Please be sure and notify me whenever the opportunity should arise that you make it
out here in the western hemisphere.

THE LEGEND IS BACK!!!...  INDEED!

I already asked for them via, email, Ted.... I didn't get an answer though!
I'm sure there's enough Between the two of us however....  cheers  lol!

Truth is, I really don't have the room for another drum set.... Looking for
storage as it is.... Somehow though I think I could find the room for a kit
that B.C. owned and played. Drumming history right there!  What a Face

Congrats on being back with Tama! I recently played a Star Bubinga set, and they sounded rich and tonal to say the least.
Hopefully I can catch one of your upcoming dates. Thank you for posting them here  Cool

Well, the timing was right so, I took the plunge. Now, to work on getting this drum line out and in front of the public. I will try and post my comments about the kit here as much as I can because I believe that your collective opinions are well worth this effort. Thanks in advance for being there over the years everybody.

I knew something was up when Boomer performed at the Tama Anniversary at NAMM 2014 this year.
AWESOME!!!! Boomer put Tama Drums on the map in 1978, it is great that he is back with Tama.

Yamaha Drums has cut their own throats, they are not the same company anymore.
They have a long way to go to prove they can be what they once were, now is not the time for Yamaha.
Maybe in the future they can produce what they used to, it will be a long waiting game to see.

Awesome to see Boomer touring the U.S. again this year.

I will have to rely on YouTube to check out the shows, as Boomer is back to Jim Thorpe, PA again.
A rural area that is close to a 90 min. drive for me to get to on a Wednesday night and then another
90 min. ride back in the dark, in unfamiliar territory in a desolate area with no one around for miles...lol.
What happened to the Colonial Theater in Phoenixville, PA?
Oh well, maybe next time.

I sure wouldn't be complaining!

D...if I was driving the California coast like you, no problem...lol.

Try driving boring Pennsylvania back roads, with little or no scenery and nothing but farms and boring country
landscapes...lol. A lot of cows and a bad horse manure smell in the air.
If you have a breakdown, don't expect any tow truck or gas stations for miles....no thanks!!

I live about 20 min. from Philadelphia, Jim Thorpe, PA is considered the rural country for me, way out in the boondocks.

Hwy 101 and 880 are not coastal highways. though
they are major transportation arteries.

Thing is, drumman, we can talk ourselves out of
anything.  The world has people standing in line to
take all the available excuses for not doing something.

San Francisco is tight, congested and a bear of a place
to find parking when attending such events.  In Oakland
you run the risk of finding your car on blocks or finding no
car at all when you get back to it's location.  Hwy 17 to
santa Cruz is mountainous and rural and if you breakdown
on that hill, you're in deep dung!  These are the places and
roads I must contend with to see Billy and other artists perform.

Welcome to the club, my friend.  Everyplace has it's ups and
downs and convenient excuses NOT to do something, even
something that may never come our way again.

Your excuses are your own, but rest assured we've all got
them.  What I can't do is allow them to keep me from living
and enjoying life.

Cars crash, planes fall, ships sink, and trains derail...  The
possibility is  very real that I can be in any one of them on a
day that their number is up.

If that's the order of the day then so be it.  I'll die in the process
of actually living and not in the fear of the negatives that lurk
everywhere, all the time.

Wow! That was a lot to read..lol. Your right, I would love to make the show.
If it was a Friday or the weekend, I might attempted it, but a Wednesday is a bit tough for me to
travel into strange territory. We will see what happens when September rolls around,
if I do make the show, I will be sure to tell Boomer what lengths I went through to see the show!!

Hey Drumman....... If you're gonna lift pictures off of my site, at least give credit where you got it from instead of leading others to believe you actually have the catalog, which you may or may not have........

That picture is a riot! I am sure glad those days are over. My hair was much too long and one bass drum was always getting in my way, if I remember correctly. I'd be lying if I said it wasn't a fun time though...........Whatever!!!!!!!!! cheers
