For my Brother and Friend, Peter Corona. I bear a burden and shall intercede. Motivation? Just read until burden is lifted and taken off of my shoulders.

“1:7 In that night did God appear unto Solomon, and said unto him, Ask what I shall give thee.1:8 And Solomon said unto God, Thou hast shewed great mercy unto David my father, and hast made me to reign in his stead.1:9 Now, O LORD God, let thy promise unto David my father be established: for thou hast made me king over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude.1:10 Give me now wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people: for who can judge this thy people, that is so great?1:11 And God said to Solomon, Because this was in thine heart, and thou hast not asked riches, wealth, or honour, nor the life of thine enemies, neither yet hast asked long life; but hast asked wisdom and knowledge for thyself, that thou mayest judge my people, over whom I have made thee king:1:12 Wisdom and knowledge is granted unto thee; and I will give thee riches, and wealth, and honour, such as none of the kings have had that have been before thee, neither shall there any after thee have the like.” [2 Chronicles 1:7-12]

On bent knee and with Holy Spirit, I asked that the Sovereign God give me now wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people: for who can this thy people, that [are] so great? Peter Corona among great ones in calm seas of Mankind. Even in stormy weather he speaks with tempered and measured tones.

Now he desires deliverance from disease He does not deserve what has been dealt to him. I am standing in the gap putting up a hedge between satan’s corruption and every demonic spirit seeking to rob, steal and kill my brother. I shall not rest until such Time there are Spirit Filled Witnesses to more than just drumming.

May we be like Barnabas to Timothy: an encourager to Peter Corona.
May we be like Paul to Titus: a father to those in ministry yet timid.
Moreover, may we just be ourselves without listening to silly women gossiping while so laden with sin.
Men ought to be Men Peters name alone testifies to his integrity. I choose to stand in the gap for him. For those who do not know Jesus Christ like I do, then follow Him… I will hold your hand or pat you on the back and say “Go.”

I have an unfeigned agape and Philo love for Peter. No demon from hell will ever confuse what is Covenant between he and I. I can’t say this about most in this forum. But that is another “His-story.” [history]

I an not Barnabas; neither Paul. I am certainly not Jesus who came, served and died at the stake for all humanity. My name is John and I am in fervent prayer for Peter. If you are apathetic, then bow out gracefully. If you are atheist, then you are a fool among fools. If agnostic, then hang in… at least agree for healing.

My motivation is for our Admin: Peter Corona… my aura when eclipsed by the Son of God – brighter than the sun that spits morning to too many ungrateful. Hauty? No. Bold? Yes. How else to enter the Throne room with God’s permission except to offer sacrifices at the behest of those who desire to be living sacrifices? For Peter I bear a burden. For Brotherhood I Put Mettle To The Pedal. Such is my motivation. Pigeon toed and slew feet need not apply. Find Christ first for yourselves. Then, and only then, shall we be Brethren.

For Peter?

I love you Sir.
May others align with the same.
In the mighty [kratos] name of Jesus!
Amen!

Benediction:

“But for you who fear My name [with awe-filled reverence] the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings. And you will go forward and leap [joyfully] like calves [released] from the stall.”
[Malachi 4:2; Amplified Bible]

Hi, my friends.

After my struggle with a
particular tumor and when
it took over my sciatic nerve,
it got to the point that the
pain took the quantum leap
and I could bear it no longer.

My right leg has been amputated.

I have been in the hospital for
these past months learning to
deal with the new reality and
which, of course, has had a
profound effect upon me and
my family.  I have not been
able to work.  It's been a
real journey.

Some of you have known.  I
know that some of you have
not known.

I want to thank you for the
support you have given me
before during and after.

Boomer knows what he means
to me and how the rock that
he is not only me but all of us.

Now: it is a new journey.

My Future

Regards and love to all of you.

Pete, I'm continuing to pray for you. It appears that all has been said and my hopes are only best for you and your family. But I have, for what it's worth to you, is but just one scripture that you may take to heart and I'll button it up. Keep your hope in God and He will supply the strength you need.

John 3:16
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son whoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life."

"Shechem"
“Shoulder!”

• The son of Hamor the Hivite ( Genesis 33:19 ; 34 ).

• A descendant of Manasseh ( Numbers 26:31 ; Joshua 17:2 ).

• A city in Samaria ( Genesis 33:18 ), called also Sichem (12:6 ), Sychem ( Acts 7:16 ).

It stood in the narrow sheltered valley between Ebal on the north and Gerizim on the south, these mountains at their base being only some 500 yards apart.

Here Abraham pitched his tent and built his first altar in the Promised Land, and received the first divine promise ( Genesis 12:6 Genesis 12:7 ).

Here also Jacob "bought a parcel of a field at the hands of the children of Hamor" after his return from Mesopotamia, and settled with his household, which he purged from idolatry by burying the teraphim of his followers under an oak tree, which was afterwards called "the oak of the sorcerer" ( Genesis 33:19 ; 35:4 ; Judges 9:37 ). (See MEONENIM .)

Here too, after a while, he dug a well, which bears his name to this day ( John 4:5 John 4:39-42 ).

To Shechem Joshua gathered all Israel "before God," and delivered to them his second parting address (Joshua 24:1-15 ). He "made a covenant with the people that day" at the very place where, on first entering the land, they had responded to the law from Ebal and Gerizim ( Joshua 24:25 ), the terms of which were recorded "in the book of the law of God", i.e., in the roll of the law of Moses; and in memory of this solemn transaction a great stone was set up "under an oak" (Compare Genesis 28:18 ; 31:44-48 ; Exodus 24:4 ;Joshua 4:3 Joshua 4:8 Joshua 4:9 ), possibly the old "oak of Moreh," as a silent witness of the transaction to all coming time.

Shechem became one of the cities of refuge, the central city of refuge for Western Palestine ( Joshua 20:7 ), and here the bones of Joseph were buried ( 24:32 ). Rehoboam was appointed king in Shechem ( 1 Kings 12:1 1 Kings 12:19 ), but Jeroboam afterwards took up his residence here. This city is mentioned in connection with our Lord's conversation with the woman of Samaria ( John 4:5 ); and thus, remaining as it does to the present day, it is one of the oldest cities of the world. It is the modern Nablus, a contraction for Neapolis, the name given to it by Vespasian. It lies about a mile and a half up the valley on its southern slope, and on the north of Gerizim, which rises about 1,100 feet above it, and is about 34 miles north of Jerusalem. It contains about 10,000 inhabitants, of whom about 160 are Samaritans and 100 Jews, the rest being Christians and Mohammedans.

The site of Shechem is said to be of unrivalled beauty. Stanley says it is "the most beautiful, perhaps the only very beautiful, spot in Central Palestine."

Gaza, near Shechem, only mentioned 1 Chronicles 7:28 , has entirely disappeared. It was destroyed at the time of the Conquest.

You are a conqueror Peter.

And I influenced you Sir?

No, You INFLUENCE me.

“Shine Through”
by Keila Ochoa

5:13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
5:15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
[Matthew 5:13-16]

Let your light shine before others.[Matthew 5:16]

A little girl wondered what a saint might be.

One day her mother took her to a great cathedral to see the gorgeous stained-glass windows with scenes from the Bible. When she saw the beauty of it all she cried out loud, “Now I know what saints are. They are people who let the light shine through!”

Some of us might think that saints are people of the past who lived perfect lives and did Jesus-like miracles. But when a translation of Scripture uses the word saint, it is actually referring to anyone who belongs to God through faith in Christ.
In other words, saints are people like us who have the high calling of serving God while reflecting our relationship with Him wherever we are and in whatever we do.

That is why the apostle Paul prayed that the eyes and understanding of his readers would be opened to think of themselves as the treasured inheritance of Christ and saints of God (Eph. 1:18).
So what then do we see in the mirror? No halos or stained glass. But if we are fulfilling our calling, we will look like people who, maybe even without realizing it, are letting the rich colors of the love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self-control of God shine through. [Galatians 5:22…]
Lord, You are the light of the world.
Thank You for wanting to shine that light in our lives.
Cleanse me today so that I may let Your light shine through.

Saints are people through whom God’s light shines.

Insight:

In John’s gospel we see that Jesus often refers to Himself as “light.”

In John 8:12 and 9:5 He calls Himself “the light of the world.”

He also uses this light language to talk about the kingdom of God He came to establish.

In John 3:19 Jesus tells Nicodemus, “This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.”

When Jesus tells believers that they are the light of the world (Matt. 5:14), He is in a sense issuing an invitation to Christlikeness.

As followers of Jesus we have been given the opportunity to shine the light of His love into the dark and dying world.

So let’s Believe this reality is already here and now… no dead religion or ritual, but a relationship with a Living God.

No Zionism errantly exhorting nationalism, but humanity exhorting puralism.

You want to know me?
Know God first.
I assure you… there are many more we All should know… in peace and loving unity…

Well.... at least you have the intestinal fortitude to approach your change of life positively, Pete.
I've lost my grandmother & mother to cancer and I dreaded the news when I heard you had your leg amputated.
I know you have a long road to hoe and the PT must surely be painful, but, you're a drummer and I know you have the discipline to recover from this temporary setback.
We all love you on this forum and I'll be saying the Lords prayer for your effortless rehabilitation.

It is probably not my place to push this on you since I did not personally deal with cancer this way, but I thought I would give this to you anyway and you can take it or leave it. .... I had been on the holistic and
systemic path against cancer
for years as many of you know.
For whatever the reason, it
did not fall into place for me
in time. Again, when the
sciatic nerve by my hip be-
came involved, the effect was
totally incapacitating. The
radical solution was taken on.

I wish it could have come out
differently but it did not. I
am here and now and having
to deal with this reality.

Anyway, I appreciate your
sentiments, Suss, Colin, Alex,
Woody and Tconrad. I really
value all of you and appreciate
your thoughts.

I am alive and not giving up.

I was at the clinic yesterday
and by the end of it, I walked.

Look.

It took weeks to fabricate the
socket (that which I am fitted
into which the apparatus is
attached to) but they comp-
leted it yesterday and it was
right as I had to leave but I
was too excited not to try
it on and even try walking
in it. To his and everyone's
surprise, I walked in it along
the rails and actually striding.

That is really me!
