HI Markku,

Went to the link you posted and saw there were three tracks there. When I clicked on each one, they would load , but wouldn't play so I couldn't listen to them. Don't know why that happened.

Peace, TED

Hi,

Strange that it doesn't work for you. I posted it on another board and it worked for at least three people:

Try again.. I tried it and it worked..

Hi Markku,

I was able to download the tracks and listen to them that way - I had tried to open them on that site which they wouldn't do.

You indicated this was karaoke. Do you mean that you were playing along live with pre-recorded tracks ? or was this a band you were playing with ?

Either way I notice great improvement in your playing from the last material you posted . Particularly, your time keeping has gotten much better, as I recall there were some issues with that in the past. Great work with that. I got a kick out of listening to Unbelievable which is a tune I've always liked by Jesus Jones.

The drums sounded like an electronic set. Were they ? My one suggestion would be to incorporate a crash cymbal sometimes to end a section. I don't think I heard one crash on any of the three tunes. Perhaps there was none on the kit ?

The tune Seleniko was driving me crazy because I know I've heard that melody before, but I couldn't remember the name of the song. Do you know the English translation of that song, or who does it ?

All in all you did a great job with these pieces Markku . Thanks for posting them . Peace, TED

Hi,

Thanks Smile I have noticed that it is much easier to record with my e drum set.. I am having still some difficulties in using it.. the crash symbal is a good example.. the other is my hihat.. I can't seem to make it work. maybe it is defective.
I really like recording and playing with e drums because I don't have to deal with the noise and always have good sounds. Now that I can hear exactly what I'm playing I can improve - it seems that my ears couldn't take the acoustic drum noise. I could never muffle the sound properly or use good enough protective ear plugs to be able to play comfortably and hear everything for any extended period of time.

- I have played Seleniko before.. maybe you remember that.
- The unbelievable was a play-along cd - so I played along. Personally I like my version of the song much better than the original..
