It's a bit strange that D.Slam, Colin and also Ted (the ones who contribute a lot) are not on the members list...

A relief to know that D.Slam only left this forum (hopefully temporarily) and not this "dimension".

Kind regards,
Anders

Sometimes you have to take a break from the forum.
Things in life happen too, and there is no time to post ideas or comments.

You can find him on MYSpace but he would have to accept you into his friends profile. I'm on it but not sure if it's a good idea to give you the site's address @ this time. If D is ever reading this, I hope what ever may have been reasons to leave this forum, was not negative but if it was, hope things can be rectified soon. He is such a contributor to so much in terms of musicality and sometimes puns that i thought was just pure comical....what a balance if one can laugh and not take stuff so serious these days. He floored me a few times not just in humor but knowing he can play drums too. ..... Smile Smile Smile Smile Smile Smile lol!

Don has been a great part
of Billy's and this forum, in
the past. I hope that he will
contribute in the future.

I remember Slam just like it was two weeks ago. He was a great guy with a huge heart and had a lot to say. He really wasn't that great of a drummer though. But he made up for it by being a nice person. Don was special.

For just $89.99, you, too, can receive your very own Living Euology by Donco™️. afro

Excerpt from
The Different Drum: Community-Making and Peace

by Scott Peck
( New York: Simon & Schuster, 1987)

The spirit of community

"When I am the designated leader I have found that once a group becomes a community, my nominal job is over. I can sit back and relax and be one among many, for another of the essential characteristics of community is a total decentralization of authority. Remember that it is anti-totalitarian. Its decisions are reached by consensus. Communities have sometimes been referred to a leaderless groups. It is more accurate, however, to say that a community is a group of all leaders."

I believe the spirit of this community forum is in line with this construct.
