This company very likely makes the most beautiful and diverse line of drums I have ever seen.

I saw Airto a few years back, at one of The Modern Drummer Magazine festivals, and at that time, he was endorsing them. They sounded great. I got a chance to see the kit up close, and it was nice stuff.

He used a brand of heads that were cool too. I think they were made in South America, (Brazil, maybe), but I'm not sure. I can't remember the name of them, but they sounded very warm. Not sure how much of that was the heads, or the drums.

I'm primed and ready for another set; I need to look into these as well.

Yet honestly? I'll need more money before I invest into what might appear as a luxury right now. Too many responsibilities on my end, if you know what I mean.

Thanks for the link Don!

Yeah, Unc.... According to what I've been reading, these kits aren't cheap! Word is they sound incredible! I did notice that they don't seem to be made from the standard maple and birch woods that most other high end kits are made with... I guess you get what you pay for as the saying goes.

Here's one I'd like to have. It's made out of Araucaria wood. The finish is called "Transparent Black." That copper colored hardware is off the fizzizzle!

Pure class! I wonder why copper plated h/w is not among the options offered by other drum manufacturers.
I remember how I was floored when I first saw that amazing Sonor Hilite that J. DeJohnette was playing in the 90's.

Beautiful music, beautiful women, beautiful drums. Maybe it's time I moved to Brazil! Cool
