Hi,

Here are two videoclips (in stereo) by Simon Phillips with the great Anthony Jackson on bass and Ray Russell on guitar. These clips were part of the VHS-tapes that first came out in 1992 and were re-released on dvd in 2007. There are six whole live performamces with this line-up on this dvd. Is Simon originally left-handed or right-handed? He seems to be ambidextrous like Billy Cobham.

Hi guys,i've just received it (from amazon.de).I realy like Simon...maybe because i love Billy. He is not only a great drummer ,he is a great engineer too!The sound of this live cd is amazing, you could think it was recorded in a studio!Simon wrote 2 tracks :mancala and drumesque,a drum solo in wich you can feel Billy's inspiration!Philipe Saisse wrote 4 good tracks,Pino Palladino 1 great track and they played Blue rondo a la Turk.Anyway the cd is short (about 42 minutes),i think for a live cd,70 minutes should be a minimum!Peace,Stef
ps:while i'm writing this short review,i'm listening to Dean Brown "DB3" with Will Lee on bass and Dennis Chambers, and what can i say about these guys...Just amazing!Listen you won't be disapointed!Nearly 70 minutes of live recording in Tokyo by 3 monsters! And the sound is huge!i can feel the power of Dennis Bass Drums thru my loudspeakers!!!
