PostSubject: Aretha Franklin, Pancreatic cancer   Wed Dec 08, 2010 11:00 pm

Sad news... Aretha Franklin has Pancreatic cancer.
She has had surgery but I don't what her prognosis
is.

I want to say to everyone, PLEASE learn to take care of
yourselves. Take a look at some pictures of yourselves
from 20 years ago and see how much weight has been
packed on since then. As we grow older we tend to keep
the same kind of lifestyle as when we were young.
partying, drinking. doing drugs, eating whatever we want
whenever we want it, not exercising... This just doesn't
work! We really shouldn't do any of that crap at all but we
definitely need to change these bad habits as we grow older.

We are all bombarded by free radicals on a daily basis and our
magnificent bodies are constantly fighting these disease causing
properties off. But our bodies can take only so much neglect and
abuse before it begins to shut down and allow these harmful
destroyers to do their deeds. Now I know that there are no
guarantees, but I believe we put the odds more in our favor
by doing what we know we should be doing for good health's
sake.

If you're overweight or even underweight then do something about it.
Change your eating habits, take the stairs instead of the escalator, go
for walks consistently... You'd be surprised how many of those walks
will eventually turn into runs.

Be proactive with your health, people! You've got ONE BODY! ONE!!
And when it's damaged beyond repair, THAT"S IT! The reason I say
all this here is because Aretha is BIG! And she's been that way for
a long time. And I personally and truly believe that much of the
unhealthy things that happens to us is preventable!

Cherish your precious body!!!

And please keep Ms. Franklin in your thoughts and prayers.

Don, so well said. R-E-S-P-E-C-T-i-n-g our bodies isn't so easy all the time, especially when things get out of control. I've been learning how the most important thing we can do to prevent illness is keep our GI tract free of bacterial overgrowth. That's the root of all major illness including obesity. It's not an easy thing to do and there are no guarantees, of course, but we gotta try harder.

One thing that's still a mystery to science is how gastric bypass surgery actually cures diabetes. I believe it's because the infected parts are bypassed and the bacteria are no longer in control. It's illegal to have this operation in the USA unless you're obese, but in Brazil they're experimenting with it to cure diabetes, not obesity.

In the case of cancer, it's well known our stomach and intestinal bugs are carcinogenic. Bacteria live in their slimy biofilm communities which needs to be dissolved by certain enzymes like nattokinase to reach the bacteria with antimicrobials such as grapefruit seed extract and colloidal silver, then mop up the mess with binders such as French green clay and modified citrus pectin. This affects the entire body, jumpstarting metabolism and the pounds fall off. Arthritis, sinusitis and allergies can become a thing of the past and major illness is prevented, at least that's the idea.

Good to know, Woof, though a bit involved and complicated. I must say
that all that excess stored energy (FAT) sitting there smothering off the
natural function of our vital organs has to be a major cause in many of
illnesses we encounter today. Folks need to do better at it's most basic
application when it comes to consumption.

Read labels, learn to understand more what the things they eat are doing
to their bodies, even on the most simplest of levels. This is what my wife
and I did and we are close to 50lbs (each) lighter because of it. My waist
went from a 40 to a 34 and Audrey's dress size went from the high side of
a size 16 to a 10!

This was no crash course either, we did it right! By design, It took us over
a year to do this. We wanted to do this in such a way that our body meta-
bolisms would naturally adjust and we would keep the excess FAT off. It's
worked wonderfully and we are having no problems with our weight.

I personally believe that the problem with obesity can be seen at it's most
basic form: People eat too much and they eat too much of the wrong
things!
Though we were not obese, I can testify quite honestly that this
is what the problem was with Audrey's and my weight problem. Folks would
do wonders for themselves by just making a few changes of habit without ever
having to open a book. Then when the book is opened and they start to get
into some serious studying about their health, it'll only get better. Cool

This Time magazine article covers a lot of ground about intestinal health, weight and health: http://www.time.com/time/health/article/0,8599,1969807,00.html

Sorry to hear that and I hope there still remains to be hope - that is my prayer for her.

No pun intended but this is what works for me.

Personally, my prescription for cleansing the bottom pipes is all so very simple. It may work for some but not all.

Prescription as follows;

1) Consume a can, with it's oil,' of un-cooked sardines

2) Immediately chase it down with a large glass of ice cold homogenized milk.

Reason for this concocktion is that oily fish will not mix well with milky liquids - the classic visual; oil floating on the surface of liguid. I think you've got the picture.

Now either it will make some a bit nausea or the gates of hell will begin to blow.

IMPORTANT; If you decide doing this plan your day or evening at home, in a room closest to the can.

And of course excercise. Fortunately, I don't need doing this often but have on occassion when I over ate at a party.

Much Shalom,
rac

Oh, no. How sad. That's the same thing that took my Grandma around the same age. This form is very unrelenting from what I understand.

Some things just happen. I don't know why. Just last week I had two golf ball size goiters and a tumor removed from my neck. Hidden so well in fact they didn't show on the tests or scans. Luckily, a brilliant doctor came a long and got to the bottom of it.

With health and doctors it's really a maze. So, we do the best we can to be proactive. Though still just a limited guarantee. Enjoy it while you can!

Yes, thank you D it's been sometime since I found the need of this remedy.

Kenny, no I am not a doctor but this was just one of an old Hungarian grandma home remedies dated back in the early 17-century.
I remember reading this dusty old book in a library during grade school and found it interesting. It was a concocktion mixed into cake batter. I then decided to experiment and administered this to my sister when she had too much to eat.

And you know......it worked. Though today she will never forgive me for that but she remains to still love me as her once rascal of a brother. At the time I was only 8 years of age. When my mother found out she grounded me for nearly a month.

Now, would you think I should have pursued the field of medicine? Who says medicine has to taste good all the time.

Merry Christmas and much peace in the lower tracks. Wink
