Billy Cobham's glassmenagerie stratus

I was gigging in Seattle this weekend and found some time to hit some music stores in the Ballard district. I found this. Michal Urbaniak, Mike Stern, Tim Landers and Gil Goldstein with Billy on here. It's sweet, anybody know anything about this one? It says Inak compact disc reference edition. What's all that about? My guess it is an early digital recording. I like the sound but i'm easy. I'm happy to find it as I've always enjoyed Urbaniak's work as well as Mike Stern. I recognize alot of the tunes.

Yes it was Bills first CD.
As CD's started proper 1986-88


It was a one of 2
before the Elektra WEA LP's

And I think it was on Digital Direct Disk LP , as well.
But not many made.

The other Inak is Flight Time CD & LP


I watched the band live at the Roundhouse in London,
it was great.

Yes first on Direct Disk Digital LP
Then late 80's on the first CD run

I was in Florida & California back in 87 - 88
I was amazed there was a Billy Cobham CD out.
As CD's were just starting

I've got that cd. Liked it at first, then didn't like it because I much preferred the original recordings. Then years later I liked it again. Haven't heard it in years, so will have to find it and give it another listen . . .
