A greatly funky drummer but what was really impressive is the emotive quality he put into his singing whilst nailing the groove hard on drums. that is multi tasking right there put to good use. i like the choice of tunes this band plays if you look at their other videos. I am going to be in that area of california in a couple weeks and wanted to try to catch them but it doesn't seem feasible with my schedule. i was going to heckle them and yell out, "play mustang sally!" and see what happened.

Got to love that bass drum and solid two/four on the snare! I understand it's hard listening to yourself perform but outside looking in it sounds so goooooood!

First, Thank you, Kenny and all for the kind compliments.

I find it a little hard to watch this clip for a couple of reasons. I had
started a program to lose weight some time before this was takenand
I was something like 25 -30 pounds heavier then than I am now. That
vid was done a couple of years ago now.

Also, it was the third day in a row that we'd been playing so my voice
was pretty shot by then which accounts for the raspiness you hear.
Some say it sounds cool but It wasn't by choice, let me be honest. And
it was a bit of a struggle to hit some of the notes that usually come easily.

Watching that clip. I'm a bit surprised I'm even wearing it.
Watches, even the lighter ones in weight can make it somewhat
cumbersome to play while wearing.

These days I always take them off before we begin performing....
Whenever I can remember that is.

below sort of holds a special place for me. The band was really on these
