Hey Woofus,

I just got an Istanbul 20'' Trash hit cymbal- the thing is ultra trashy like a crash and a china at the same time, really well made cymbals, I'm very happy with mine-

Wow! I just bought two turkish cymbals, a Bosphorus 17" traditional series hand hammered crash. And a Bosphorus 18" antique series hand hammered crash with rivets. Two of the best sounding cymbals I've ever had. I plan on getting me a few more turkish cymbals for sure.

Cymbals for me typically depict whatever a person wishes to draw/play from them. Zildjian versus Sabian are all the same Turkish family/heritage. I'd buy a cymbal like I'd buy a pair of shoes: it either fits or doesn't.

/// ... and no one pair of shoes fits for all occasions: that's why there are styles within a suitable attire well fitted for the occasion.
