I don't know if I told you, but the band did a complete CD of covers. Well, it's done. We did 11 covers and one original that was actually from a live performance. I am happy with the outcome of the cd and I believe the time and effort that was into it will be evident to every listener whether they actually like the music or not...

With that said, I wanted to post MY favorite piece on this project. It's our version of Marvin Gaye's "How sweet it is to be loved by you". Very simply when I hear this song, this particular arrangement of it, it makes me smile. I have no reservations in saying that I am so proud of myself, my band mates and Mark Stein from "I'm Stein Recording Studios" for working so diligently and hard to make this happen. There really not anything technically special about this piece. To me though, The very essence of this tune and the feeling it is meant to portray was captured more than any of the other ten songs we recorded for this project.

Another point of this tune that I am proud of is that I arranged all and sang most of the background harmonies. This also goes for the rest of the cd along with singing lead on two tunes. Don Caruth did a great job on lead vocals on this and it only adds to the many reasons I have picked this tune as my favorite of the bunch.

Without a doubt this one musical piece is the closest effort to musical perfection that I have ever been a part of... (Please don't misinterpret what you just read. No) everything about this hits me right.

I'm sure you won't enjoy it as much as I do, but please enjoy nonetheless.
