Without having played one, I
have to really be comfortable
with a design, if I am going to
buy something and I am just
uncomfortable with the flex-
ibility of it but look at these
Catapult video's on YouTube.

This guy is a good one to have do
the video because he has a good
approach to the pedal. Fine kick.

I've played one, Pete. They don't feel real stable. The worse part is when playing fast patterns, the two parts will sometimes separate from each other, so you get this kind of paddle ball effect.

Playing laid back, the pedal doesn't feel that bad at all... But you quickly learn of it's short comings when attempting to apply it to diverse musical situations.

Don.

Excellent, Don. Thanks!

That is exactly the kind of
commentary we need on
products, such as these.

I added something as you were posting your last comment, Papa P. You might want to go back and give it one more quick read.

Also, Pete, in the first clip when He firsts starts playing the pedal with his foot, you can actually see and hear the two parts separate... He doesn't say anything about it, but I experienced this same problem.

Don.

Thanks, again, Don.

I see what you mean about the
pedal. You are very helpful.

On your addition, can you point
me to the thread?

Thanks, again.

Ahh, It's just what you see here, Pete. When I went to post the addition to that existing post, I was notified that another post had come in and it was you.

It's all good though... It looks like you got it all Wink
