The best pedal for the money,
in my opinion - this illustration
really does a good job of intro-
ducing the concept of the cam
as being the governing factor
in the action of the pedal.

They actually added a Purple
and Yellow cam. I use the
Purple one, btw. It falls in be-
tween the Red and Blue, on
the diagram.

Focus on the shape of the cam,
the rounder, the smoother (as
in the White and Black) and
the more squared, the more
reflex or snap-back (as in the
Red and Blue).

Try the strap and the chain.

I preferred the strap. But you
try and see what feels best to
you and incidentally, don't worry
about it breaking. No way, it will.

Thanks Pete,

Do you think the strap is just as responsive as the chain? I think I played a strap pedal once, but it wasn't new, and I really don't remember that well.

Thanks--D.L.

I thought the strap had a
smoother more direct response
but try them, both. I believe
they are interchangeable but
check on that. Maybe get both,
if that is the case.

I have the Twins and can talk
about them until the cows
come home. So, whatever you
need, I will be able to comment
on practically their every aspect.

Can it be converted to a cocktail pedal with that 360 degree clamp?

Ha!

Dave, here's your pedal for $85. It was a Buy It Now that didn't sell, so you can probably contact the seller. Auction ended just a few minutes ago.

Thanks Pete,

When I get one I'll let you know. Probably in a few weeks after I get back from a tour I have to do. I really dig the multi beater too.
and the hoop clamp seems logical.

Thanks for the link Woofus, I'm probably going to get one new so that way if there's any manufacture issues, I'll have some sort of dealer warranty/ return policy.
