What Happened to the Forums ?

Hi gang !

the new Cobham site is up and it looks really great, especially in Flash format. the only thing missing is the Forums . Anybody know anything about that yet ?

I just saw that, myself, Ted.
Looks like he did away with the forums.
Maybe he will add one, soon, but it is his site.
We always have ol' reliable Pete and his forum here.

It would be a bummer if he did do away with the forum, though.

I'd email Boomer and find out the rest of the story, Ted.

I already did Woody , but haven't heard back yet. He's playing in DC this weekend.

Having a forum leaves him vulnerable to a hacking and he may have decided that he doesn't want to deal with that anymore.

But if that's his decision I think he should put a link to this site so People can find everyone here. Peace, TED

LOL!!! Seems like this site is all but forgotten about until something happens over at Billy's, Pete. I told John some time ago that it's important that we keep commuications here going as you never know what's going to happen at Billy's page.

I too have just contacted him and am waiting for an answer. My hope is that it's just taking awhile to intergrate everything.

You're probably right about the hackers.
I don't think I would let them get the best of me, so, I can't blame him if he did do away with the forums.
It would have been nice to give everyone a heads up as to what was going on with the new site and all, but I imagine he is a busy man.
He probably thought it wasn't worth the headaches or maybe he has a new webmaster to run the site.

My question is if the case is he had no intention of keeping the forum, why bring it back to begin with? I'm hopeful the forum will be back.

I tend to agree with you on that Don - he also has been posting on the forum here and there, and I know he enjoys personally interacting with everyone there.

If we don't hear from Billy personally from each of our e-mails, Mr. Fusion will be attending the Sunday show in DC, and he will find out in person what's happening.

I think they will be back, as Don says.
