Hey Colin,

What is your favorite, if any, among these selections you've noted.

Hi Colin, my question is similar to John's; which 2 or 3 albums would you recommend out of Narada's all releases? I haven't heard any of his solo albums (only heard of them). Maybe his first ones from the late 70's would be worthwhile to check out? Narada Michael Walden is a very powerful drummer and I especially enjoy his energy and approach on Mahavishnu Orchestra's Visions Of Emerald Beyond and Jeff Beck's Wired.

Kind regards,
Anders

Right along with his drumming, Narada has proven himself to be a producer to be reckoned with. This man has produced a number of hits for the likes of Aretha Franklin and Whitney Houston, among others.

"garden of love light" is a great Cd, I just listened to it today. It features the masterpiece "The Sun is Dancing"....great stuff! As far as I know most of the other albums are more disco music with some cheesy ballads...I have got the "Looking at me looking at you" LP and I don't like it at all, except for "Reach out" which is really funky and a danceable compositon. Narada is one of the top Pop produces since the 80s and doesn't play the drums too often live....but when he is, he can prove that he's one of the greatest everytime..! He is one of the greatest in my eyes.

Peace
Niki
