Very sad to report that T. Lavitz passed away in his sleep. Great keyboardist, whom many of you will remember played with Boomer in jazz is Dead.

Oh my goodness! Had he been ill?! Man I'm tellin you, they're droppin like flies.
This is such sad news... I saw the 2nd series JID band. though not as good as
the first, they supplied some fun entertainment and T. was on his game........
Great stuff with the Dixie Dregs, also.

Wow! he was still in his 50's.

1956-2010 It is with profound sadness we announce that T died unexpectedly in his sleep on the night of October 7, 2010. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and the world of music.
