ddrum started out making only drum triggers and has now expanded
their production line to acoustic drum sets. I have two ddrum kits
and I love them. They've paid great attention to detail in quality
control where other drum companies Like Premier and Mapex have
failed miserably in their mid line models. ddrum offers great sounding
shells with very reliable hardware. Their big thing is what they call the
"virgin bass drum", where there are no tom mount holes in the kick but
the toms are mounted on stands instead. Great sounding drums, open
and big, from their highest to mid line kits at an affordable price. The
lower lines I can't comment on. They have several signature series
things going on.... I'm not familiar as to how good or bad these lines are.
The veriety of woods and drum sizes that are offered is also impressive.
The've been making acoustic and electronic drum products since 83.
