That was great.

I am still waiting for a new finger drum device that was hopefully, coming out in 2011. Had a Zendrum years ago. I recall Billy being on the Zendrum info as an endorser, though I never saw him play one. I didn't like the unit myself. I'm surprised Haynes doesn't play one of those. Maybe he does, but most of what I have seen him do has been on Korg-type drum machines with the small pads.

It is serious fun to play drums with your fingers. Every other musician uses hands to get intimate with their instrument. I guess bow players are 50/50? But it makes all the sense in the world for drummers to get into set playing with hands and fingers. The percussionists have been having hand fun forever.

AlternateMode has something to do with a new device coming out. Can't wait to see it.

I thought Haynes was terrific on the short clip of him playing the set.
