Never heard multi-track studio stuff I've finally gotten around to mixing using Garageband:

Nice to hear for me as a couple of the players no longer play . . .

I'm using Promark hotrods on the first track because back then I'd have a hard time playing that rhythm with sticks. Second tune I screw up fours, but one fill sounds nice . . . hope it grooves for you. Got a few more tracks in the can to play with . . . shore it up!

Out of No Where is very smooth Woofus! I'm seeking to hear the rest; but like I always said about you: you have the heart to play this stuff with conviction. That's what I admire about you and those you know. Sorry to hear those involved are no longer playing. As for you Keith, keep stickin!

Bernie's tune [for me] shows what "JAZZ" is all about - just improvise and play! Have fun while stikin' with the melodies. No criticism from me Woof! I enjoyed listening to you and Crew!

What IS this thing WE CALL LOVE??? Question

Sometimes we're timid; and sometimes we strut our stuff! We have hot rods and the Ladies act as if they're afraid of that thang! Cool

As for me, I'm just ME with everyone in mind. We laugh, joke and jostle one another in this community, but what I'm here in this community is REAL. I love good music.

Keith, you are being yourself and I really enjoyed your solo along with the players you worked with.

Multitrack stuff? Question Old New stuff? Arrow

It's just the music... play it like you're doing. I'm not the judge.

bounce cheers Very Happy

How'd you get to be such a great witness, Suss? But it takes two to tango, doesn't it, just like mom always says . . . you're very right about my timidity on What Is This Thing Called Love? and I think it's a weakness of the production, but in my defense I vividly recall not being able to hear everyone right in the headphones and had to bring it down a lot . . . it had been almost ten years since I even wore headphones. Headphone mix is so key if you have to wear them.

As long as we're time-traveling, I just wanna share this example of my rock drumming when I recall a fantastic headphone mix. This is live-to-DAT, take 1/1, Spare Change:

This happens to be my favorite song of the week; I've really been enjoying it and just begun talking with my friend/bandmate composer about the lyrical meaning . . . it's heavy stuff, more to come.

Woofus! Are you begging a question with me? If you don't know by now, you'll never know except through someone else's transparency. As for me, I'm a witness of what people DO. More importantly, I'm a witness of what people do when applying themselves to ALL genres, idioms and societal elements beyond the walls built by those who don't. That is my answer with all Respect for you Keith.

Too many have lost their lives thinking that their corner on the spiritual market is the nook and cranny. I'm not a maverick, but I am a free spirit. If by those means some are Inspired along the way, then I'm grateful. This technique and expression didn't begin with me. I just put my signature on it. You have your signature Keith and unique to yourself. Keep stickin - you already know more than most are willing to give you credit for.
