Niki. I didn't like the vocalsit in the first clip.
I really didn't think she sang that well.
Now the second clip is something we talked
about a couple years ago. Playing behind the
beat or as I refer to as "playing behind the meter."
I found out a lot of people really didn't understand
what it was. Many feel that it's simply "laying back"
where in reality it's literally playing behind the tempo.
It's a hard thing to do while drawing a deep feel out
of the tune at the same time.... These guys nail it!
