Colin, I'm curious why you see this as pure music art. It seems to be more a reflection of society and culture with parody of music used to make the point.

Just wondering, is the song from Disney's Snow White? Or is it an original and not a parody at all?

So, you are saying using parody music for cultural film is pure music art?

I did not see any credits at the end. Maybe I missed them. So, all the people in the film are musicians/singers?

To be honest, watching it twice, I can't understand half of what was sung.

Asaph, I think it has the afiliation of having to be
from that side of the tracks. If you've never been
there then you're not going to understand what's
going on.

It's like trying to understand the true essence of
Gospel music without ever attending a black penta-
costal or Baptist church... You're just gonna miss
much of the the point.

Anyway, I agree with Colin.... Masterfully done!

I happened to notice in the side bar at youtube the kid who produced this was a finalist on American Idol. I watched his audition test. He sings well. Talented.
