A compilation of drum solos by Billy Cobham from 1968-1976

Hi,

Here’s a nice compilation of six drum solos by Billy Cobham from 1968 to 1976. It’s good to know that quite a few videoclips exist from the earlier years even if we yet don’t have any official dvd releases from the 60’s and 70’s of this great musician. The quality of these clips is quite decent too.

Ah, so nice and exciting to watch. I especially liked the third solo camera angle from behind/above.

I always wondered what Buddy Rich thought when he first saw Billy play.

Nice!!

I like the sound of the very first clip. Something about hearing the reverb of the room and that old school sound he was getting with those Hollywood Drums. Not that I don't like the others, of course...
