Hi Everybody:
I am not sure that I told you about this record but the short of it is that I produced in in the Bahamas back in 1996 or thereabouts. But, when the end product fell short due to our electric piano going out of tune on the sessions I chucked it off to experience and moved on. Ah, but my engineer on the date, Craig kept on me about the possibility that there might be some break throughs to come online in the not too distant future so, I shouldn't lose faith since this cd had such strong personality and, what do you know - We have Compass Point featuring Gary Husband on keyboards, Stefan Rademacher - E. Bass and Carl Orr - guitars. The date of release is set for June 18, 2013 and the label: Cleopatra. I expect to have it available for the Fall World tour that is currently coming together for Spectrum 40. Looks as if I get to perform in middle America quite a bit more than I ever thought I would experience at this time in my life. For this I am truly grateful as I have not performed with my own band in some cities for many, many years. Looking forward then!

I've received an inquiry regarding a clinic, Ted................Let's see what tomorrow brings. Boomer
actually, I would like to make the project happen as I have an idea for an enhance drum set up that I believe could be a great conversation piece at clinics and workshops. so, here's hoping?

hello billy,
i bought the double cd 3 weeks ago. it's not bad! i have all the lp's and cd's from your solo career.
also everything from mahavishnu, miles etc. where you play. i would like to take a few words on
the album. this is not from a standpoint of a consumer, it's from a standpoint of a musician. i play
50 years bass & guitar. (i'm not from the stupid jazz police Smile Smile )
i like most of your compositions on the album, the only criticism i have is the mixdown of stefan!
he don't sound like stefan! Smile this is not the problem, the real problem for me is carl orr. there are
almost no dynamics in his sound. sometimes he play some of your songs very strange. Question
he don't have the great feeling like Jean-Marie Ecay or dean brown. his sound is always the same.
your dvd & cd live in leverkusen was fantastic!!! great mixdown, fantastic music!!!
i'm waiting for the new spectrum album!! who is on the lineup? tom coaster, dean brown??
greatings from germany billy!!

I'm sure that the London Drum Show wouldn't say no....?

(PS I'm aware that the thread is about the US, I just think an appearance at LDS is long overdue Very Happy )

But
Funding has to come forward.
for Travel Costs  & other things  etc.

Times have changed   even in NY  no drum clinic at this time.

Both  USA and UK are not doing well in money terms.
Mind you Even China is Closing Factorys, now.

Sorry to be so Grim.
I am not.
Its just life Today at this time.
