Asaph - Ludwig Signet 105

I've seen mixed reviews. Mostly with the lugs. Some feel the finish is akin to some kind of Formica and not very attractive. Others like them, especially the ebony. Same with all finishes, I suppose. Some love, some hate every finish out there.

If they do 'well,' by whatever standard Ludwig has established for that mark, I believe they will branch out into other finishes and more sizes, etc.

I think the guy's remarks about lug screws falling out and rattling inside a drum is somewhat disingenuous, seeing Ludwig is still selling top of the line sets with lug screws, which are generally put in with loc-tite now, so they will not loosen and fall out.

I love the idea. Anything DIY is good by me.   

I think that mounting bracket in lug spacings is a pretty cool idea, too.
