You know, Woof, this brings tears of joy and sadness for me. They just don't do it like this anymore... And growing old, becoming sick and dying really bites.

Kindred spirits there, D. All that beautiful poignance, but you still can't get around the inevitable. Today happens to be Rosh Hashana, the Jewish New Year. It's about spiritual renewal, self-repair and return to your true self . . . all in the context of community and helping others.
