Breaking news: VF appears to have permanently altered their classic design of the Jazz Brush:
http://www.vicfirth.com/product/buynow/product.php?button=WB

It is now a circle end instead of the venerable triangle.

And then just when I don't think I can handle this . . . I discover New Balance has changed the content of their cotton socks!!! Jesus!!! Am I just not good with change? Something must be done about this . . .

I think VF may be pulling a Coca-Cola. Recall New Coke supplanting what is now Classic Coke. Surely this is not about cutting cost . . .

And those damn Sony LCD televisions. There's not a good one in the lot! Technology inspired compromise where even the top of the line doesn't have everything (poor viewing angle!). Piece of crap.

And New Balance socks used to be 82% cotton, but now they're 81% with the extra percentage going to nylon. And then they have the nerve to say they keep your feet cooler. Well, we'll see about that, NB!!! Jerks.

Give me perfection!!! I don't want your Amish quilts!

Hey, these coffee beans from Costco smuggled in from Mexico and roasted in Austin, TX . . . not bad considering low expectations about high acidity. Way to go, texico.

I'm not here on the planet to play with a little circle on the end of my chosen brushes of over 10 years!!! Vic Firth, you should be ashamed of yourself.

This reminds me of the time the roll of toilet paper flew off the spring-loaded cylinder which then flew into the toilet and stayed there for over a week before retrieval. I thought it was flushed, but then kept hearing jangling sounds upon subsequent flushes. Ted, you'd be very proud of me; I installed a new toilet all by myself last week and, so far, it hasn't fallen through the floor into the dining room. 1.28 gallon is the future, not counting the dry, compost toilet. VF, are you listening?

Firth, unless you come out with a new woofus™️ model brush, I may have to shut you down. I'm on the phone now with the EPA regarding your effluent.

Keith , you installed a toilet ? Why , I would have thought a green-conscious recycling king like yourself would have gone the retro way and just used a bucket, which you could then empty into your garden as compost addage making for some yummy vegetables.

lol!

Peace, TED

Dude, I have a friend who does that locally. 5 gallon bucket, covers it with sawdust, then hauls it outside to his compost bin.

Vic, did you think no one would notice?

A little frottage never hurt anyone . . . the love child of brushes in the Garden of Eden. Use that in your ad campaign, Vic. Now that's what I call brushwork.

Today I saw Jeff Hamilton doing some work behind Diana Krall and damn if that girl wasn't pregnant with twins again by the end of the tune. In fact, the whole band was a first rate unit.
