I saw this and found instruction:

The Breckers because of Billy had
and still have an impact on me. I
don't you can be a drummer and
not know about the Brecker Bros.
and you can't know about the
Brecker Bros. (I believe) because
of Billy Cobham.

It makes me think about that time,
again - everything that happened
and everything that changed.

I still play Spectrum, Crosswinds,
Total Eclipse, Shabazz and A
Funkythide of Sings a ton. Those
albums changed me.

Well, check it out. I hope you get
out of it as much as I did. Btw, I
suggest following up, and going
through all the parts. It really is
special and there is a surprise in
there that you will enjoy.

RIP, Mike. You will be missed and
that, forever.

Regards,

This is ABSOLUTELY incredible Pete! Both Randy and Mike crossed my path because of Billy back then. I picked them up at Newark Airport for Boomer's group (DREAMS) and the Woodstock revisited gig. Barry Rogers was in my car, and rubbing shoulders with these guys was as instructive for me as it is for you. Sure, a different time and place, but with the same Principle.

Thanks for this Peter. In my faith for God, we'll see Michael again (John 5:24 - John 5:29)...

Was this at Berkeley/Boston?

John,

This was at North Texas
State University, 1984.

Glad you got something
out of it. I love(d) him.

Regards,
