This is my Purpose in Life for those who are wondering; however much pain we experience, we have far greater Vistas. What you hear is my daughter and son-love David. I am a grandfather two time over! I am so thankful that nothing is Lost in the Essence of the Message.

This is what credentials should NOT mean. I mean to say with the bantering among us these so-called and qualified, it doesn’t’ matter. Refigure this confusion. I agree with Don, John, The piece was beautifully done. Her voice is very reminiscent of Roberta Flack's with that bassy earthiness to it.

Thanks Guys... this music came about in 2006 at a very low point in my life. Those who are close to me know of what I speak. It's funny how when in a valley, Looking Up is life changing. In my short-sightedness, I was NOT prepared for what the 2008 Ball would bring. Funny... I always say "be prepared:" I wasn't and have learned from the experience.

This is why I love to share among us in this TREMENDOUS community. I've learned so much from you guys, if you can believe it. Believe it. As long as I have breath, I WILL Praise the Living God and treasure the relationship those here know we have.

I am humbled to have my daughter back in my life after nearly 20 years of being estranged (not her fault - just that of the ex's family). Yes Don, David is contributing on the keyboards; and Angela's voice is off the hook! It was David (her husband) who encouraged her to reach out to me. Full circle, huh? That's why I call David my "son-in-Love," not "law." He's a jazztastic keyboardist and a singer in his own right. Playing with folk like this just draws the music out of you. I hope to do a project with them in NYC next year.

Tonight I'm hooking up with my bass player and friend (Don Klayman - from the Guild of Sound). We're gonna have some din din and see Star Trek on IMAX (the big screen). We talk weekly, but I haven't seen his face for a few months. I hope to be surprised by seeing Randy Harper too (he lives here in Atlanta; a keyboardist that I met in Birmingham, Alabama back in 1982) When the majors said an independent label run by musicians couldn't market, manufacture and distribute its' releases, we proved them OH SO Wrong! That first release by Candi/Beracah Records was nominated for a Grammy Award. Randy's the guy on Candi Staton's gospel releases in the 80s until he moved and we met Oliver Scott & Mose Davis.

Niki... I don't recall getting your email. Would you resend it? You have quite a testimony yourself young man and my friend.

Yes, Billy started a website that became a community, then a family, that has become an institution....

The looky lu's come and go. They say their little piece, hurl their little insults and in the not too distant future fade into oblivion. And yet, WE still remain.... It hasn't always been perfect, surely not... but through it all, the true and dedicated are still here!

This to me will always be a part of Billy's legacy.... The foundation of this place was established by him, then expanded upon through the unselfish efforts of Papa Pete and then with those of us whom have chosen to stand fast and firm.... Maybe not continually... But like the prodigal son, the true few seem to always come to ourselves and find our way home.

To that, I say glory to God in the highest.
