Yeah, I know it's inevitable, but I still find myself wishing that somethings would never change.
I'd almost settle for the fighting again... At least the site was active and alive.

has and is happening, in relation
to my work, the economy and
politics but I want to live, so I
will spare all of you AND me.



Last year was a good year for
me, in terms of the drums and
developing in areas that I had
put off over the years. The first
was in the "cymbal riding" area
and the second was in Buddy's
left-hand technique. I am very
happy with the progress.

The family is good, though the
parents are the worse for wear.
That is life. I just was in NYC
and Ct., visiting them. Time
marches on.

I will try and drop by more. I
have you in my thoughts.

Nice to hear that I'm missed but not so great to hear that you're associating me with all the fighting, though I certainly took part.


Been very busy. Was ill with the flu, after getting the H1N1 shot, which gave it to me, though it only lasted a few days.

Santa bought me a new computer for xmas and I've been transferring files off the old one and trying to learn a new operating system [ windows 7] and all the quirks.

A number of my older programs no longer work with W7 and there are no upgrades as some of the software is now obsolete. So I've been trying to hunt around and find some new compatible ones, though I frankly liked what I had.


So while the new computer is beautiful and fast with lots of space on it, I'm having to learn to use it again. Plus a long time bandmate had surgery and is still recuperating in the hospital and I've been visiting him a lot.

I haven't been on much, and I really don't have much to say except hi to everyone. Palindrome is an excellent album- one of the best he's done in a while, and I can't wait for the official release , though I, too, have been privileged to hear an advance copy. And no , I don't know the release date.

Drum N Voice 3 will be out soon. And supposedly, Sonic Mirror on DVD.

Will try to check back soon.

Great to read you, Ted. I hope all is well.... I'm not associating you with any fighting that went on here or elsewhere.
I'm only saying that the energy that used to be is all but dead and that I'd just about settle for the fighting to get folks
stimulated here again... Not really, but I was only trying to make a point. Lord knows I was involved in more than my
share of the fighting that went on here, but I wasn't trying to associate anyone with anything and I'm somewhat
perplexed as to how you came to that conclusion based on my opening thread comments.

Anyway, I'm glad you're over the flu and I hope your band mate is getting better.

According to Billy, the release date for Palindrome is January 15th.
