Totally unique. Thanks for posting. Have seen his stuff before, but not this musical . . . he's found lots of colorful ways to use his technique, otherwise it's limited . . . but what a great arsenal.

I use very similar sticks (Pro-Mark Acid Jazz) to the Rabb signature; American Hickory, same length and diameter with different taper and tip. I'd like to try his sticks! The taper I choose is reminiscent of the old Cobham Pro-marks which I raised myself on . . .

Yeah, but a lot of players have chops. I think Woofus hit the nail on the head.
He's found very colorful ways to use his technique in a musical way.

All that stuff he was doing and he still had me tapping my foot.
That's what it's all about as far as I'm concerned.

Hey D-
Yeah he's fantastic-
Those cymbals he uses on the drums are called ''Drumbals'' I have had one for about 3 years, a 10'' and they are a lot of fun to mess with- you can really change the pitch of the drums, and they have a little rubber handle on them that make it easy to bring the cymbal up and down.

Awesome for that kinda electro- white noise type of sound.

I have always thought Rabb
very unique and the master
at the "one-hand roll". His
technique is very fluid and
relaxed. He is also very art-
iculate and I think a fine
educator. He is cool.

Regards,

Just tried the Rabb Pro-Mark sticks and they are promising . . . and I'm very picky about sticks. Luckily they're the same length and diameter of the sticks I'm used to, so thanks to Don for inspiring me to find them. Great find.
