From Boomer's web site:

DECEMBER 3,2010 - BILLY COBHAM has signed with TED KURLAND ASSOCIATES for world-wide booking on an exclusive basis.

This is good news, hopefully this will mean better bookings in major markets.
This is exactly what I was mentioning before, about Billy being booked in strange, out of the way places instead
of better markets, where he deserves to be.
Very Happy cheers santa

That still doesn't mean that he will be booked in the actual city in Philadelphia...
But here's hoping. In the end however, our attitude should be to support the
art form of music and artists we love and not worry so much about performances
being conducted outside of our immediate convenience. Support the artist and
his/her music. That's where the rubber meets the road.

The most recent tour was booked by Ted Kurland - so you can thank him for missing Philly and sending him to Jim Thorpe.

Why not come to New York instead - book a hotel for the night and go see both sets at the Blue Note when he appears in March with Ron Carter and Donald Harrison again.

Peace, TED

Good idea, Ted!
At least I can visit NYC and there are cool things to do there besides the show.
Jim Thorpe, PA has not much of anything out there.
