1986 Gig the time John Mclaughlin made me smile

It was at the the Royal Festival Hall
JVC Jazz gig John with his Mahavishnu Band.


He comes on stage with a smile
and starts playing a Funk Riff.

Thats when John made me smile
a great way to start a show.


Thats the kind of riff
Wah Wah Watson, Ray Parker Jr.,
Dean Parks or Jay Graydon would have played.



John can play anything
and when he started that gig
I was in Bliss.
