The only thing I don't like about this is his
snare sound... Sounds like a tom.

nice session. very clean. quite a workout! he played great!
The snare sound didn't bother me.

I really like his overall set up. Plenty to work with although i found myself wanting to hear some higher end pitches or just something different. It almost sounded a little flat after awhile like the tone never changed. Like the range could've been expanded a little bit somehow. Maybe it was the snare? Or the music itself straight jacketed itself tonally. i think that's it.
Though i don't care for some of the metal guitar overtones in some of the music i found that quite listenable! holds worthy

People always tell me to smile more when I'm playing. As much as I hate that feedback it does make a huge difference in presentation. I get so busy i don't think about it but, it's important for me to keep those things in mind. They say when you smile you actually do feel better and get more joy from what you're doing. who the heck is "they" anyway? Thanks for the clip, I enjoyed it!

I don't know, Kenny. On my system it sounded like his snares
were in the off position. May have been the e.q. but it just didn't
cut it for me. But it does seem that as time passes the mix gets
better. And yes I agree the sound was quite clear but a little flat.

As to Virgil's facial expressions, someone said he looks like Charlie Sheen....
I had to laugh about that one.

Desert Girl is a real fave.
