Bill has been and always
will be one of the most
important drummers for
me. Always a spearhead
in embracing himself and
how he individually could
contribute to the whole.

To this day, I love his work
with Yes and King Crimson
and in that special way.

Regards,

I need to get Bill's book. Been meaning to get that since it came out. I love listening to him speak on drums and music, anything, really. His articulation and intelligence and wit are mesmerizing to me. His voice behind the instrument is one of the most recognizable in drumming.

I saw him with Yes when they toured and opened for Grand Funk. And I saw him with UK which was incredible. I will never forget their opening song - Alaska. Shook the building and brought the roof down, not with volume but, power.

Always reinventing himself and trying new things. He's got a place in the drumming pantheon.
