Colin

Should be good.

I hope he talks about Allan Holdsworth
when he did the band called "UK".

Not a bad read, it is a bit hard to follow though.
His thoughts jump around a bit and you have to keep your place in the book
to remember what he was originally talking about.

Bill is very honest and says what he thinks, it is interesting to hear about his
nightmare at Madison Square Garden with Yes in 1991.
His Simmons SDX crashed right before his solo and he was left with just a
snare and cymbals!
Very entertaining book and a good value for the money.

Bill Bruford was a real influence
for me, when I was very young
and new to real drums.

I love(d) Yes and saw them every
chance I could but regret not hav-
ing found them sooner, as Alan
had replaced Bill. Alan is a fine
player but entirely different.

Bill had a much more delicate style
and with a kick and a half!! He
got the bass-drum to do things!!
I just loved everything he did.

Fragile and Close to the Edge
were my faves, of course. The
Yes Album was great, too.

He really was so important, for me.

Thank you, Bill. I will have to get
this read.

Regards,
