I think you guys will like this. Some harsh (foul) language but very nicely done... Very touching.

Enjoy.

Don, I thought that was just great ! Anyone who has ever subbed on a gig will get a big kick out of it. I am sending this link to all the musicians I know. Thanks for posting that !

Ted,

What struck me most about this was the love and desire he had for what he does,
which was portrayed in a very quiet, soft and gentle manner. Yet, you could still
sense the burning passion he felt for his craft and the music and his ability push
through all the negativity, dis-encouragement and even personal insults to make it
come together.

This is among the best short films I've ever seen.

As Colin would say: "10 outta 10".

I agree. It stands on its own as a great little film. The fact that it's a drummer only makes it more relevant to us, but it could have been any instrument.

Two of the musicians I sent this two play in wedding orchestras every week so they should get a big kick out of it .

Thanks, TED

Absolutely fantastic, moving stuff. Thank you so much, Don, for posting. It speaks to me about not just making due with what we have ourselves, but how it takes others' acceptance, as well. If we can do for others like the first dancing couple did for the drummer, what a wonderful world this would be . . .

Yes, the pains and struggles of an artist. As long as we don't do the Van Gogh episode (suicide). In my opinion, it's better to place our happiness and joy in someone bigger than our selves; like God.

Much Shalom to all,
rac
