Rufus Jones

Now here is another drummer that I have a lot of respect for, I wish he had kept living, man what a contribution he would have made. But to me he made one, I was checking him out and, looking at how high he holds the sticks up off of the drums in the second video below when he is doing solo, it is like he is doing Moeller drumming or something. and I think that it would be safe to say that Buddy had nothing on this guy. Rufus could go, and the trad grip control and speed that he had was astounding, he was rated has the fastest in the world along with Buddy during that time. Rufus just like Buddy was a precision drummer.
