Very interesting articel on European Jazz by D. Liebman

During my research for my BA thesis I came across what I found to be a very interesting articel saxophonist Dave Liebman wrote about the European Jazz Scene/cultural reception of Jazz in Europe.
I think we touched base here sometimes with this topic - after all Billy lives in Europe and I remember people asking why he decided to live there. I don't know if reasons are similar to Liebman's, but its an interesting view on some of the positive aspects on Europe I think.
Also the different cultural backgrounds of European musicians (compared to musicians from the USA) and audience is spotlighted a little which I also found interesting.
