Dennis is so wicked. Even his monster solos ooze groove.
He's so powerful, fast and clean all at the same time.

I think Billy Sheehan is a really good bass player. But his
bass tone just irks me to no end.

Dennis really followed that cool melody/rhythm line of the song in that solo. You could hear it all the way through. I've read various statements by Buddy that he really appreciated drummers who patterned solos like that.

Not a popular taste to have in this day and age but seeing a band with no guitars ... I love it. Give me more.

Where are the keyboardists in this day and age? Considering what synths can do, how did keyboard players end up as side men and background musicians?

I am so tired of bone crushing, wall to wall rhythm guitars out there. Noise. So much noise calling itself music. Music, by definition, anyway.
