Kenny,

The Keyboard player Austin Peralta is (was) only 22 years old.
He died last November of a yet undertermined cause.

I thought he and the guitar player ripped the jazz section in this.

Yeah, I don't get it, Ted... Virgil gets up to the bay area
every other blue moon... He performs all over the world
but somehow can't get a U.S. tour going.

He does however have a scheduled U.S. tour with Eddie Jobson
If you're interested and they'll be out your way. See Schedule below:

April 6 MEXICALI - Baja Prog Festival
April 7 SAN DIEGO - Belly Up
April 8 LOS ANGELES - El Rey Theatre
April 9 SAN FRANCISCO - Regency Ballroom
April 11 SEATTLE - The Triple Door
April 13 PORTLAND - Aladdin Theater
April 16 ALBANY - Swyer Theater, The Egg
April 17 BOSTON - Center for Arts at the Armory
April 18 PROVIDENCE - Fete
April 19 NEW YORK - Highline Ballroom
April 21 PHILADELPHIA - World Cafe Live
April 23 BALTIMORE - Soundstage
April 27 MONTREAL - Gesu Amphitheatre

Yeah Don, I saw that. Unfortunately the Highline Ballroom is a stand only venue, meaning no seats. My days of standing for complete shows are over so I will miss that one too.

Thanks!

Ted,

At the Kummbwa in Santa Cruz, I stood for both shows. Not
because they didn't have seating but because they were sold out
and had standing room only. I went up into the sound booth with
Franz but it's small and me sitting there would have somewhat
impeded what he needed to do.

The shows were so happening however that the standing really didn't
bother me. Plus I was walking around taking pictures anyway so no
big deal.

Don,

My injuries don't make it possible for me to stand for any length of time without pain.

On a brighter note, that guitarist in the video will be a part of Chick Corea's new band called The Vigil when they tour later this year so maybe I will get a chance to see him then.

The Vigil?! Charles Altura will play guitar? I gotta look into that.
I understand about your injuries, Ted. I was just making conversation.

Ted,

Sorry to hear about your injuries.
I understand.

Don,

Some very cool stuff at @3:00. An
incredible development regarding
the keyboardist. Tragic.

This was a special configuration. I
like the guitarist, too.

Regards,
