Yeah, I don't get it, Ted... Virgil gets up to the bay area every other blue moon... He performs all over the world but somehow can't get a U.S. tour going.

Yeah Don, I saw that. Unfortunately the Highline Ballroom is a stand only venue, meaning no seats. My days of standing for complete shows are over so I will miss that one too.
At the Kummbwa in Santa Cruz, I stood for both shows. Not because they didn't have seating but because they were sold out and had standing room only. I went up into the sound booth with Franz but it's small and me sitting there would have somewhat impeded what he needed to do.
The shows were so happening however that the standing really didn't bother me. Plus I was walking around taking pictures anyway so no big deal.

My injuries don't make it possible for me to stand for any length of time without pain.
On a brighter note, that guitarist in the video will be a part of Chick Corea's new band called The Vigil when they tour later this year so maybe I will get a chance to see him then.
