Glad to see he is back in the U.S., I ordered the Compass Point CD today from Amazon!

I don't know, drumman but I at least plan on attending the Napa show!
It'll be nice to see the band at a different venue.

The band consists of all the same members as the last tour minus Jerry Goodman.

That's a nice theater in Napa, CA , looks like a renovated old style venue, it must have nice acoustics.

I hope Boomer doesn't get mugged in Detroit, the city has just declared bankruptcy, hopefully the city
can get back on it's feet again in the near future.

Yeah, bad situation there in Detroit.

Touring in England is not worth
the money - these days.


Even George Duke
did not manage to get a Tour Deal
for any of europe, sadly.

Hi Everybody:
The dates beginning, in Tampa, Fla (St. Petersburg), are very special in that I will have a chance to perform in front of an audience that has generally not been accessible to me over the past 30 plus years. It is NOT 'a walk in the park' to obtain work in cities like the ones Don has posted here so, to say the least, I am more than honored to have this rare opportunity to present my works at the locations on this tour schedule. It's so special, in fact that I don't even want to think about having another chance to play in middle America should I be lucky enough to be invited again. "One step at a time" as they say. If everything works out, we will then head to Europe once done with the USA and Canada, for a few performances there and then record the band before it's time for everyone to head home. BUT!!!!! One thing at a time. Let's see what tomorrow brings. I suspect that we are in a good way now. Thanks for your interest, everyone and thanks for checking out the old stuff from "Compass Point" too.

I believe that a tour of the U.K. and not only England is possible. I think it can be done with a small amount of sponsoring but it can be done and I am working on this now. England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland can be had with proper preparation. Spectrum 40 is scheduled to play Cork Jazz festival this year and I might just play up north in Scotland with that band as well. If I can do that I can play England in the southwest (Bristol or Cardiff) and in the north around Gateshead. It does take planning and some support but I think that the support is there. Let's see what tomorrow brings.
